Recently I had the pleasure of working with the DeZao family at the beautiful Heritage Gardens in Wailuku in the lush Iao Valley. This is one of my favorite locations for family portraits, it has more beautiful backdrops than I could fit in one session. If you are adventurous you can get down to the crystal clear river where you are surrounded by green moss and there are dramatic boulders to sit on. There are also many different structures to honor the heritage of the poeple who live in Hawaii, so there is a Japanese garden, Korean garden, Hawaiian garden, Portugese garden and all sorts of fun things there.
