It always happens when you least expect it...isn't that what they say? When Darren and Lindsay first met through mutual friends, neither was looking for love. Fate didn't care. The darling duo couldn't help but fall for one another three years ago and the rest is history. Celebrating their love with a dream wedding back home in Houston, they were blessed with perfect weather and relatives that made the trip from Indiana to witness their union. What could possibly top that, one would wonder? A honeymoon in paradise. Honored to capture their Maui Honeymoon Portraits, we were thrilled to get to know the vivacious pair that couldn't have possibly looked at one another with more adoration in their eyes. There was no shortage of laughter as the two donned their wedding attire to further commemorate this time in their lives. On a trip packed with incredible adventures like Hana, Haleakala, and whale watching, we were so excited to have this time with them on the dramatic Kanaha coast. Personality for days, there was never a dull moment with our darling new friends. We even got to capture Darren's socks! A wedding gift from his beloved bride, they honor one of his perfect pooches back home - Max. Don't worry, we won't tell fellow canine companion, May, so there won't be any jealousy issues. Sunshine Found - Mina & Bendik's Maui Honeymoon Portrait

Fresh off their wooded wedding back home in a Norway forest, Mina and Bendik, were ready to hit the beach. Excitement Abroad - Karolina & Jukka's Maui Couples Portrait

Enjoying a clear blue morning, Karolina and Jukka couldn't have looked happier as they played along the sandy shore of Southside Beach. Visiting from Finland after marrying a couple weeks before, they were head over heels in love with each other, as well as our gorgeous island. Snorkeling with green sea turtles and catching the sunrise on top of Mt. Haleakala were amazing, but the highlight was the bike trip back down the winding volcano road. Exhilarating, to say the least! While their Maui Couples Portrait may not have been quite as heart-stopping as riding a mountain bike down the face of a volcano, we like to think we are just as much fun. ;o) We certainly had a good time with this fabulous pair because they have an incredible zest for life. A Little Something Extra - Hailey & Jonathan's Maui Wedding Portrait

Though it was a bit balmy that night, Hailey and Jonathan had no trouble keeping their cool and looking fresh and amazing for their Maui Wedding Portrait. Having gotten married the week before in a green setting at the Plantation House, the Mississippi pair wanted to round out their wedding collection of photos with some amazing images of the golden shores. As the sea danced in the back ground on Maluaka, these love birds channeled their honeymoon happiness and dazzled our team with their smiles and effervescent energy. Bright Beginning, Brighter Future - Hannah & Josh's Maui Honeymoon Portrait

Heavenly Honeymoon - Emily & Michael's Maui Couples Portrait

Emily and Michael are such an incredible couple. Despite Mother Nature messing with their plans, they maintain such positive attitudes and have a great outlook on life. After Hurricane Harvey forced them to postpone their actual wedding, they went ahead and got married anyways and postponed their wedding celebration until the start of the new year. Happy Hiatus From Reality - Yen & Brent's Maui Honeymoon Portrait

After a month and a half of wedded bliss, Chicago couple Yen and Brent finally got to escape to paradise for the honeymoon they deserve. Having met online and fallen head over heels for one another, they tied the knot and started a new chapter in their story. We had the pleasure of catching up with them on Wailea's Southside Beach on an overcast evening. Despite a few passing showers of Aloha blessing (aka rain), the cloud cover actually provided a stunning soft filter that cast an ethereal feel on the scene. Honeymoon Heaven - Caroline & Matt's Maui Couples Portrait

With a happy glow about them, Massachusetts couple Caroline and Matt were treated to a stunning morning along our West side. While the weather may not have been completely cooperative, there was no raining on Robert and Diane's parade. We were so honored to meet with Sunny and Brian on our golden South shore a couple of days after they married in Seoul. Perfect Plan, Perfect Surprise - Ryan & Natalie's Maui Engagement Portrait

Growing up with a father who's from Maui, Ryan has wonderful memories of landmark location Mama's Fish House. Those memories have now been increased by ten fold because the love of his life, Natalie, agreed to be his wife on the sandy shore. Devising the perfect plan, Ryan asked staff photographer Sasha to wait in hiding, capturing the precious moment in secret. Then, once his beaming future wife accepted, she learned that they had a Maui Engagement Portrait to enjoy as well. Guiding these two love birds, and soon-to-be parents, to look cozy together was as easy as the North shore breeze. As they embark on the next stage in their journey together, Ines and Jason enjoyed having a Maui Honeymoon Portrait taken to commemorate their amazing trip.
