With a dad's birthday and a wedding anniversary to celebrate, there was no shortage of reasons to be smiling for the Singleton Family. Of course, we think five year old Tucker doesn't need much excuse anyways. As one of the happiest little guys you'll ever meet, his energy and enthusiasm were positively contagious. As laughter rang out down the beach, we had a blast capturing the gorgeous Oklahoma crew's Maui Family Portraits. Winter Can Wait - The Ekstrom's Maui Family Portraits

Though they love their Winter wonderland back home in Alberta, the Ekstrom Family was perfectly fine with grabbing a little fun in the sun while on Spring Break here. Enjoying a beautiful morning on the beach, the athletic bunch loved getting to play in the sand and surf, particularly their darling active boys. With it being their first time here, the island did not disappoint and we were so glad we were able to capture some of the fun and wonder you can't help but experience in this piece of paradise. Having been married on Maui years ago, the proud parents of the Flees Family were so excited to share the beauty of the island with their kids. More stunning than the gorgeous setting around her, Selvi looked radiant for her Maui Senior Portraits. A natural glow that can only come from within, this current high school Junior is eagerly anticipating her senior year and the adventures that lie ahead. With a head for English and Science, the darling Michigander also makes time for dance to ensure a well rounded life. A Reason To Gather - The Bullen Family's Maui Portraits

As the generations joined together, we had an absolute blast capturing the Bullen's Maui Family Portraits. In town to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's 45th wedding anniversary, this was an excellent opportunity to gather several family units for one big family fiesta in paradise. Ditching the Colorado cold for some fun in the sun, the cousins, siblings, parents, and grandparents alike were on cloud nine as they reveled in the bond they share. Having rented a private house, the rolling lawn served as an excellent setting before we headed for the beach to get our toes nice and sandy. Life's Sweet Adventures - The Pope Family's Maui Family Portrait

It's amazing how the time flies. We had the pleasure of meeting Jessica and Dudley five years ago when we photographed their wedding. Still as sweet as can be, the gorgeous Georgians are floating on cloud nine as they celebrate the blessings in their life. Not only are they still madly in love, they welcomed a beautiful baby boy named Wyatt. As they prepare for his upcoming birthday, they also took a moment to celebrate Dudley's birthday as well...on the day of their Maui Family Portrait! Yay! We love getting to be part of these amazing milestones in people's lives and the Pope Family is no exception. With Grandma getting in on the action, it was a day of fun, laughter, and a sweet treat for a darling boy so full of life, no additional sunshine was needed. Endearing Engagement - Vanessa & Nathan's Maui Couples Portraits

Further confirming why she loves him, Vanessa was thrilled with Nathan when he planned a surprise engagement photo session for them. Vow Renewal Revelry - The Mark Family's Maui Portraits

When they first married, though the girls were there, the whole Mark Family was not yet complete. Wanting to celebrate the love that's still burning strong, and commemorate with all five family members present, they opted for a Vow Renewal themed Maui Family Portrait. Leo's Laughter & Joy - The Lu Family's Maui Portrait

Gathering on our shores for some family bonding time, we were so excited to capture the Maui Family Portrait of the Lu Family. Hailing from San Francisco, the darling group were just as sweet as their smiles implied. With Leo courting to be the center of everyone's focus, as two year-olds often are, we were completely smitten with his precious smile and easy laugh. He was so mesmerized by the ocean and we loved getting to capture some of that wonder. As the soft cloud cover filtered the sunlight for us, the day took on a pastel, water color painting inspired hue, while the sea swayed along the shore. Dazzling Duo - The Le Family's Maui Portraits

Having always wanted to capture a beautiful professional photo with her darling son, Ruth Ann decided it was time to go for it! Thanks to the recommendation of the Reagan Family, the Le Family found their way to us and allowed the Karma Hill Photography team to capture their much anticipated Maui Family Portrait. Traveling from California, the dazzling duo was so cute as they played along the coast. Though the sun was being elusive, the smiles on Ruth Ann and Hayden's faces were bright enough that no sunlight was required. Brought together through soccer and track, they quickly realized that they had found their other half, the person they never knew they were missing all along. Aloha Spirit Comfort - The Umezu Family's Maui Portraits

There are some Maui Family Portraits that stand out for us...this is one of those times. The Umezu Family has a both heart breaking and inspiring story to tell. This stunning land holds a special place in their hearts as it was the location of their last trip as a family of four. After their beloved youngest, Charlotte, passed away a year ago, the incredibly strong Minnesota family returned here to gather on the stunning shore and pay tribute to a life taken too soon. Though young Charlotte had fought a tough battle since the day she was born, she is at peace now while her spirit lives on in those that love her. To honor the journey they have all been on, the Umezu Family founded the non-profit, seizeyourjoy.org, and is now helping others benefit from the lessons they've learned and, most importantly, spreading the joy for life to everyone they meet. That dedication to finding happiness and being there for those facing difficult times is what allows this tireless trio to carry on in the face of tragedy. Fantastic big sister Sophie is a prime example of that. Despite enduring one of the hardest things any one can face at any age, she is a ray of sunshine with a smile as bright as the day is long. What a character! We were so honored to have been invited in to the lives of the Umezu Family and learn about the amazing things they are accomplishing in the wake of such loss. Thank you!!! We hope the Aloha Spirit forever watches over you three, and Charlotte, and that you keep one another close in your hearts. You are an inspiration to us all, thank you for the work you're doing.

Under the cover of an overcast sky, the Xu Family rallied on a Southern shore for their Maui Family Portrait. With so much to celebrate, there was no shortage of smile inspiration.
