I have had the pleasure of photographing the lovely ladies at Salon 253 since they opened for business.  Their team has grown by leaps and bounds so it was time for some updated business portraits and head shots!

Their team provides amazing salon services as well as serving as a "Glam Team" for Maui brides and grooms.  Making people look their very best on their wedding day.

Owner Adiel Cline wanted a different look for their business portraits so she rented a warehouse space to get a fun industrial/urban feel and of course made sure all the ladies were styled perfectly to represent their brand.  I had a blast spending time with and photographing this amazing team! I am so happy to be their "official" photographer and of course, I am also a client!

Maui Business Portraits - The Salon 253 Crew

I had the pleasure of photographing some business portraits for my very favorite Maui salon, Salon 253 in Wailuku.  They were voted "Best Salon" by the Maui Time Weekly readers and they deliver on that title!! They also provide bridal hair and makeup services for many of our brides and do such great work, it makes my job easy!  

I always have fun when I get to spend time with this group of beautiful ladies, they love what they do and you can tell. I took updated head shots, group shots, salon details and fun action shots of the ladies working their magic. At one point when we were outside, a car stopped in the middle of the road and the driver whipped out his camera and snapped a few for himself! It was hilarious, but can you blame him? 

These ladies are stunning!  It was almost a full day of shooting and they rewarded me at the end of the day with a fabulous blow out and curls! Gotta love working with salons!! If you have not visited Salon 253 yet, do yourself a favor and make an appointment! You will be sipping on mimosas and getting the best hair of your life in no time :)

Crawford Family Portraits at Mama's Fish House Beach - by Karma Hill

We met the Crawford family at Mama's Fish House Beach this week for their fun family portraits. We started off our session with beautiful head shots of Tara that she can use for her website. Tara is a holistic health coach here on Maui. Captivating Journeys Staff Portraits at Heritage Gardens - by Karma Hill

Last week, we headed up to Heritage Gardens in the Iao Valley to photograph the beautiful women who work at Captivating Journeys. Captivating Journeys is a travel agency that we work closely with for all of our wedding clients. The ladies decided it was time for some fun staff portraits so they could update their website. There are so many cool places to take pictures at this location. We had fun exploring around the buildings and gardens with these girls. Business Headshots - In Seattle :)

A while back when we found out were were headed to Seattle for a vacation, I put it out there on my facebook page to let clients that live in that area know I would be available for some limited portrait sittings.  Shannon took me up on my offer and booked me to get some updated photos for use in business for online profiles and marketing. I worked with Shannon and her husband for their 15 year anniversary portraits while they were in Maui last May: http://www.mauiphotographerblog.com/2011/05/maui-anniversary-portraits-ted-shannons.html It was great to see them again and because we were in their hometown they were able to bring their doggie to the shoot :) Ted wasn't planning on being in any of the photos but I could not resist getting a "family portrait" for them since they were all there! Maui Family Portraits Preview, Onysko Family - Maui Photographer, Karma Hill

I met the Onysko family at Southside beach on a perfect morning for photography.  Mom is an entrepreneur, personal and business coach and consultant. She will be launching a new website soon and wanted some fun and updated photos for her new project so we combined her business photos with some family portraits for some great memories as well as great images for her business. Adiel from Salon 253 did a beautiful job on her hair and make up and they said they had a great time with her getting pretty early in the morning. Thank you Onysko family for a fun morning!
