The More The Merrier - The Iverson Maui Family Portraits

It's no small feat trying to organize a portrait session for 23 people. Well done, Cari!
We were so pleased to welcome back this fun group, coming together in Hawaii for a Thanksgiving gathering/reunion. It's so special when you get to see four generations having a blast together and we were honored to be a part of their Maui Family Portraits again this year. One of our favorite things about what we do is building relationships with people and seeing their families grow up over the years. Seeing the cousins play together, the adults relax together, and the whole group bond together is a special experience. To the Iverson Family & Co., thank you for choosing Karma Hill Photography again. It was our pleasure and we hope to see this group back again next year!!!
Happy Holidays and Warm Aloha!!!

Welcome Back Chan Family! Maui Family Portraits

I first met the Chan's when I had the pleasure of taking couples portraits for them when they were on vacation in Maui. This time they returned with another very adorable addition to the family! They actually made a special trip to Maui JUST so they could have Maui family portraits on the same beach they had their couples portraits, how cool is that!! Their little guy was so chill and happy and just loved looking at the camera. He is the first grand baby for both sides of their family so he is VERY loved and you can tell he knows it with those big smiles :) Mahalo Chan family for returning to Maui and choosing me again to document your family, I hope to see you back again in a few years!!!

Welcome Back Burnett Ohana! - Maui Family Portraits by Karma Hill

What a difference two years makes!! The last time I saw the Burnett family, they were a family of 4 and their youngest son wasn't even walking. Two years later, they are a family of 5 and the kids have grown so much!! One thing is the same, however, how much this little family adores each other and has such a fun time together. Together with grandpa, they had an awesome time running, playing snuggling, jumping and even some fully clothed swimming! I just love the fact that even though most of my clients to do not live on Maui, I still get to see a lot of clients back every couple of years! Mahalo Burnett family for choosing me again to capture your Maui Family Portraits, it was a pleasure to see you again!!

Maui Senior and Family Portraits the Zimmerer Family

I adored this sweet family! Their youngest is graduating high school and what better time to get some senior portraits in Maui! We started with a couple of bestie pics, then went into capturing the beautiful Natalie's portraits. I loved the floral crown they brought and all her fun outfits, there was plenty of inspiration for me and with the wind blowing at just the right angle, sometimes I felt like we were at a fashion shoot! At the very end of the session we also captured the entire family together on the beach, it was a perfect way to end the shoot, now they will all have some photos to commemorate their time in Maui! Mahalo Zimmerer family for choosing me to be a part of your Maui vacation, it was a pleasure meeting you!!

Lisa & Thomas - by Maui Wedding Photographer Karma Hill Photography

Lisa & Thomas brought their closest family and friends all the way from Canada to get married in Maui! We were so honored when they asked us to photograph their wedding because they have to be one of the sweetest, most genuine couples we have ever met. Our staff photographer Naomi and her second shooter Sasha had so much fun with this couple and their wedding party. They began in separate rooms at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa for their getting ready coverage. Then they met in the garden area near the Moana Lounge for their first look. Thomas was ecstatic to see his gorgeous bride for the first time. Then Thomas & Lisa along with their bridal party had a little fun playing Bocce Ball, Tug-of-War, and even sat down for a game of Chess. We love when couples want to add these fun little elements into the photography. Then it was time for their ceremony. Thomas & Lisa were married by Reverend Fred Torres. This ceremony and exchange of vows left everyone in tears, even the photographers. After they made it official with the marriage license signing and a few group shots, the married couple and their bridal party headed over to Wahikuli Wayside to get some beach pictures of the clan. The bridal party danced and played in the sand before Naomi & Sasha stole the Lisa & Thomas away for their romantic couple's shots. We ended a little before sunset because the group returned to the Sheraton for a luau celebration. Thank you so much Lisa & Thomas for choosing Karma Hill Photography as your Maui wedding photographers. You were such a pleasure to work with and we wish you the very best!
