The Bond family was visiting from Lynwood Washington, my old neck of the woods before we relocated to Maui 7 years ago. I didn't expect however to have someone I went to highschool with show up at the shoot! It just goes to show what a small world it is we all live in. We didn't make the connection until the day of the shoot, so it was a nice surprise! The Bond family has an adorable and energetic 3 year old, who was ready to swim from the moment they got there. The promise of waterplay kept her interested throughout most of the portrait session, but as soon as mom put on her swimsuit she was off! I love it when parents bring along swimclothes for the kids, it lets them just relax and have fun and I can capture some real expressions of joy! Mahalo to the Bond family for choosing me as your Maui photographer, I hope to see you back in Maui in the future!!
