Part of being a creative is always wanting to try new things! At any given time I have a hundred ideas floating around my head, a styled beach wedding is one of those things that has been rolling around for months and months and I just had to try it out! I posted on Facebook to our couples that were already booked with us that I wanted to try a beach wedding with some fun extras and asked for volunteers. Brittany and Nathan were great, they let us do whatever we wanted to create a beautiful styled beach wedding! The first person I thought of to help me was of course our favorite Floral designer, Della Peacock of Dellables. We talked about the vision, which was rustic and natural and she really pulled it together with beautiful driftwood, shells and flowers. Marissa Hawke, the coordinator for Simple Maui Wedding set up the beach mats and pillows for the guests in a beautiful and practical way so everyone had a clear view of the couple (one of my biggest pet peeves about everyone standing at a beach wedding is that not everyone has a clear view). It all came together beautifully and to top it off Brittany and Nathan were married in a beautiful oceanside ceremony by Reverend Keith Pagan. Brittany had her hair and makeup done by Adiel Sneary of Salon 253, she brought out Brittany's natural beauty and her hair and makeup looked amazing throughout the entire evening despite the heat and wind.
