I love photographing all kinds of families, but I have to be honest, my favorite is families of 3. There is something so special about a first child, they are so adored. Not to say that second and third children are not equally as loved, but your first child will always have a unique place in your heart. The Lau family was visiting Maui from Anchorage Alaska and was thoroughly enjoying the warm Maui air. Their adorable little girl was turning one soon so it was a perfect time to capture images of the family and their daughter. We met at DT Fleming beach park in Northwest Maui, one of my favorite locations to be sure. The quality of light at this location is what really makes me love it. It is soft and directional, two things that photographers love, or at least this photographer! Mahalo Lau family for choosing me to capture your vacation memories!
