I met the Nilles Family at the house they had rented in Makena to celebrate mom's big 5-0 birthday! It seems so appropriate to celebrate your 50th in the 50th state! Mom had grown up in the islands so Maui seemed like home to her. The family got together and helped her celebrate by getting family portraits together before heading off to her birthday dinner.
