The Horn family was visiting Maui from Seattle. Dad works with a friend of mine from college who sent him my way, love that! He has a cool job as the Wine Director for an awesome line of restaurants called Purple Cafe and he was so kind as to bring me a bottle of wine from my home state! Thank You! We first met at Southside beach, where we tried to get some portraits but their little guy was afraid of the sand and water so we moved the session back to their condo in Kihei to see if he would do better in the grass and a place he was comfortable with. He did a bit better and I followed him around while he was playing. Even when kids have an "off"day we still can manage to get some fun portraits. My son did the same thing the last time we had family portraits and one of my favorite photos is one where he has an adorable pouty face. :)
