Once a year I set up a shoot to experiment with new locations, equipment and lighting I always ask my fellow wedding industry professionals to be a part of it. This year Della from Dellables provided the amazing floral and Adiel from Island Bridal Hair brought together the "island vintage" look on the bride that I was wanting flawlessly. I was lucky to have my dear friend Meghan and her husband Brendan on Maui for a visit and to be this year's models. They were married this summer and are still newlyweds so that glow has obviously not worn off yet! This is the first of 3 posts to feature this shoot. Our first location was Makena Landing in South Maui. I had never shot there before, but always wanted to, it has really cool lava rock formations, green areas and a huge rock staircase going up a hill across the street. Then we headed out to some sugar cane fields on the way to the north shore, I had always wanted to shoot next to the fields when they were in bloom and this was my chance! Part 2 coming tomorrow!
This was my favorite! So sweet and happy! |

This was such an amazing bouquet, love the protea and the orchid combo! |
I love Maui in the winter when the mountains are so green. This did have a little help from the "Hawaiianize" Kubota Lightroom Preset :) |
