I met the Perera Family on a beautiful morning at Makena Big Beach. I just love that location for morning portrait sessions. The water is so blue and the beach is so huge that crowding is never a problem. The Perera Family are regular visitors to Hawaii from Canada and figured it was about time to have professional portraits of them in one of their favorite places. I love it when parents bring swimsuits for the kids at the end of the session. It creates a great opportunity for the kids to let lose and have fun and for me to be able to capture that.
