I met the Bertram's on Polo beach in front of the Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel, I was honored to capture their new family on a beautiful Maui morning! Their 6 month old son was such a cutie! He just loved trying to eat the sand.  My son did the same thing at his age, I think it is a right of passage for any baby.
