I don't usually recommend using Makena Cove as a location for family photography sessions. It is very beautiful but it is also almost always crowded with weddings. I made an exception for this lovely family from Washington. They were married on this beach and named their daughter after it (Makenna) so sweet! We were competing for space with 2 weddings but it was worth it, the photos turned out beautifully!
