Southside Beach provided a one of a kind landscape for the Meyer Family to enjoy and it made for stunning photos. This Arizona quartet was so full of life and laughter that it was an absolute joy to be a part of freezing this moment in time. The real world, and real life, can wait. A Wonderful Winter Escape - The Sandhu Family's Maui Vacation Portraits

When it's 40 below at home, there's no better time to escape to the Hawaiian islands for a little warmth and sunshine. The fabulous Sandhu Family had that very thought when winter reared its brutal head in Alberta, Canada. We are so glad that, while enjoying our beloved island, they chose Karma Hill Photography to capture their Maui Vacation Portraits. Their two little darlings were so much fun to work with. Despite the sandy toes not being her favorite thing, 2.5 year old Sobha still displayed the illuminating brilliance that her name implies. And let's not forget Jindh and his two front teeth. Those inquisitive eyes are show stoppers! Southside Beach provided an outstanding setting for this charming family's excursion. Thank you, Sandhu Family. Joy on a Perfect Day - The Welch's Maui Vacation Portraits

It's so easy to get caught up in the day to day life. We are focused on responsibilities and to-do lists and raising our kids. We are tired and the days seem to run out of hours before we've even had a chance to clean up the breakfast dishes. That's precisely why vacations are so important. It's an opportunity to slow down, relax, and really connect with the ones you love. Don't get me wrong, when you're a parent, you're never off the clock. You don't get to miraculously feel 10 years younger (ie. that person you were before 3am feedings, teething, tantrums, ear infections, and basically being the sole source of all light and goodness to another human being - no pressure). But vacation means getting to take that moment to just...be...as a family. When you have no where you have to be and nothing that must be done, it's amazing what you experience. For the Welch Family, their first trip as a family of four was not only the perfect chance to re-charge and come together as a family, but also the perfect time for Maui Vacation Portraits. We love being a part of that. We love capturing moms as they truly are (stunning!), and dads the way their kids see them (adoring!), and kids being who they are (hilarious!). Those silly nuances, those shy smiles, those moments of genuine laughter. These are all things to hold on to. Lauren and Grant, your family is beautiful. More importantly than that though, you can tell how much you all love each other. That's what makes it all worth it in the end, right? Hangin' Loose & Happy Times - The Lazarus Family's Maui Vacation Portraits

Bright blues in the sea and sky provided a vibrant and exciting setting for the Lazarus Family's Maui Vacation Portraits. In town to not only relax as a family but also to celebrate their 10th anniversary, this California family was clearly having a blast on our sunny shores. Maui Vacation Portraits - Welcome Back McKay Family! by Maui Photographer Karma Hill

I first met the McKay family in 2011 when I took some Maui Vacation Portraits for them! Their son was quite a bit younger and more interested in his train toy then taking photos back then.  This time around he was quite the little ham and he loved being in front of the camera, what a difference a few years makes!  I had a great time visiting with this fun family and catching up with them. Welcome Back Raney and Hanson Families! - Maui Vacation Portraits by Karma Hill Photography

The Raney and Hanson families vacation to Maui together every spring break, and for the past four years, it has been a tradition to also have either family portraits or kids portraits taken as a part of the trip! It was SO AWESOME to see them back for the fourth time and I had a great time as always documenting their adorable Ohana.

We took the photos at the resort they were staying at and took advantage of the beautiful grounds and nearby beach.  After the more formal portraits were done, the kids donned their swimsuits and had a great time splashing in the pool! I love getting to see kids in their natural element and I can tell that these families will have an amazing rest of their vacation together!  Thank you so much for choosing me again to be a part of your Maui Vacation Portraits!!

Maui Vacation Portraits - The Wakefield's Family Portraits Preview - by Karma Hill

The Wakefield family had gotten beach photos in the past and decided that this time they wanted to change it up a bit and went for some fun jungle photos! We met in the lush Iao valley and took advantage of the beautiful scenery that the jungles of Maui have to offer.
