The Butier Family sure does know how to take portraits! They hired us for their Maui family portraits and we learned so much about making portraits fun! We always try to have fun and laugh and play in our portrait sessions but the Butier family were definitely professionals at it! They were so happy, so loving to each other, and we just had a blast with them. We began their portrait at 505 Front Street near the surf shop. Staff photographer Naomi took full advantage of the backdrops taking pictures with the gorgeous blue ocean, a fun canoe, and even added in a few props.... like a huge palm frond that they found. After the beach they decided to walk up to Local Boys Shave Ice and get a little treat. This is such a fun way to add variety into a portrait session.
